| DEPOE BAY It was my parents who stayed at Depoe Bay and provided these photos. They rented a condo with a balcony directly on the beach. There are several similar beachfront properties I found available here: http://www.DepoeBayVacationRentals.com Located 13 miles south of Lincoln City, Depoe Bay is known for its wide sandy beaches separated by rocky headlands. It's a prime spot for whale watching year round as well as other wildlife: sea lions, seals, pelicans, and other seabirds. Depoe Bay has the world's smallest harbor spread over a scant six acres. Nearby is the area's most famous sight: the spouting horns. Here sea water is forced through ancient lava tubes at high pressure, producing a stream of spray.
