to Moclips
We go on an afternoon walk along the Moclips
River. Here we see seagulls resting on the beach
by the ocean.
As we walk along the Moclips River we see on the
other side the southern edge of the Quinault
Indian Nation, where the forest and cliffs are wild
and undeveloped.

The water looked golden from the minerals
scattered on the river bottom.
We walk through a stand of old wooden poles that
once supported a bridge across the river.
Sediment wall
The river turns through a bend and washes away
a wall of sediment on the other shore.
Small forest at midday by the Moclips River. The
river was a wonderful place to explore and spend
an afternoon.
