Pictured above is the little-known volcanic reef off of Point Grenville at
sunset. The Quinault Indian Nation has two fabulous beaches: a rocky
beach off the town of Taholah with the giant rocks of Cape Elizabeth in view
across the Quinault River mouth and Point Grenville, where the wide sandy
beaches end and across a six foot high rock wall you find a hidden beach
of volcanic gravel and a dozens of offshore rocks - two with arches
through them.
