KAYAKING ON HOOD CANAL
Kayaking on is a unique way to explore the Hood Canal fjord. The Triton
Cove State Park boat launch is within walking distance and as a guest of
the Triton Cove Beach Home, your boat launch is free (regularly $7), if you
place the parking pass provided in the windshield of your vehicle. The
water in the coves are calm and beautiful on a nice day. You are likely to
see bald eagles, seals, gulls, great blue heron and if you are lucky, an orca
whale. Kayaking Hood Canal is a nice way to peacefully and quietly enjoy
nature and the shoreline of the glacier carved fjord, Hood Canal . Bring
you own kayak or rent one from the Pleasant Harbor Kayak and Rental.
