THE ARTS AND CREATIVITY ON HOOD CANAL
Relax, focus, and let your creative juices flow. The Triton Cove Beach
Home located on the Olympic Peninsula is your place to write your next
book, paint your next masterpiece, or compose your next symphony. When
you are at the home, you can gaze out the large picture windows or sit on
the expansive deck and at times, you will feel like you are the only person
on the Hood Canal fjord.
The Triton Cove Beach area was owned by Erle Stanley Gardner, the
creative genius behind the Perry Mason series. Gardner was one of the
best selling writers of all times, and certainly one of the best-selling
mystery authors ever. He was best known for creating the world's most
famous fictional lawyer, Perry Mason. He used to visit this beautiful area
with his writing staff as an inspiration to his creativity.
Just a few miles north, you can experience the Olympic Music Festival in
Quilcene from June – September on the weekends. You will experience
chamber music at a turn-of-the-century dairy farm on 55 acres. The Olympic
Peninsula comes alive when the great musicians descend on Quilcene,
which is just a few miles north of the Triton Cove Beach Home.
